Hope’s Gate
Hope’s Gate is a non-profit organization that focuses on bringing hope to orphans, victims of human trafficking, and the world’s most vulnerable. They send volunteer teams that train young women rescued out of human trafficking and teens at high risk of exploitation to make the beautiful jewelry they sell for fair wages. All profits and proceeds are raised to bring awareness and funds to break the cycle of exploitation and hopelessness. In India alone, 200 young girls a day are sold into sexual slavery. It’s estimated that 80% are sold by their families.
Task
Bridging lifestyle to a greater cause of hope through a non-profit organization revolved around change and rescue. We helped Hope’s Gate with a brand identity system that represented their cause and played with the concept of gating the elegance of their jewelry into typographic form.
